Although my first travel contract was in North Dakota, we were able to explore a lot of Minnesota! Fargo, North Dakota is on the edge of the state bordering Moorhead, Minnesota. If you are ever in the area of Moorhead I highly suggest exploring it! Besides that, we were able to spend a weekend in Duluth, a weekend exploring Lake Voyageurs National Park, and a day on Lake Superior sea kayaking alongside the Apostle Island Sea Caves. And it was all beautiful!
